Real Estate Development

The organization has developed almost 900 units of housing over the past 42 years. It has been able to develop this large and diverse portfolio through creative and innovative financing techniques ranging from the syndication of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, to use of mortgage backed securities, to obtaining grants and market-rate below market rate financing loans from a wide variety of programs, including the Federal Home Loan Bank, the Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, The Reinvestment Fund, the City of Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority and the City of Philadelphia Office of Housing and Community Development.
