Berks Street
Pictures from the Project and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!FRP has recently completed the renovation of 10 vacant row homes located in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia. The units were sold to first-time low to moderate-income homebuyers. The project architect was Horn Blyth Partners and the General Contractor was Melrose, Inc. The development was funded by the City of Philadelphia and the Federal Home Loan Bank's Affordable Housing Program (AHP). The ten buildings are large four bedroom historically significant buildings, which incorporate high ceilings throughout the first floor as well as specific facade details that highlight the buildings uniqueness. This is FRP's first development in the Strawberry Mansion area, and we look forward to continuing in the revitalization process there. |
