FRP HOSTS CITY YEAR FOR DAY OF SERVICE

On April 21^st, 2007, a sunny saturday, Friends Rehabilitation Program hosted 220 City Year of Philadelphia volunteers at the Sarah Allen Senior Home. Staff and residents worked alongside the young people from City Year to beautify the campus and grounds.

For six hours, the volunteers cleaned, painted, weeded, and planted. They put down hundreds of gallons of mulch and bagged up a small mountain of debris.

FRP salutes the great folks at City Year, and we look forward to future partnerships.
